Paper ....

i admit it ... i love paper ... all kinds of paper ... oh yeah, you know i do love the scrapbooking paper, but i also hunt down other paper for use in paper crafts.
love this beautiful floral paper ... its next on my list to play with

and the thrill of it can be in the hunt ... like when i walk into a thrift store and find vintage sheet music, or a text in french .... maybe something in an asian text ... all exotic looking ...

sheet music and french dictionaries ... what could be better

I love wrapping paper, tissue paper, newspaper, lined paper, graph paper, old air mail paper, crepe paper ... just about anything i can get my hands on ... it's just all so beautiful ...

monkeys playing in "the stacks"

a flower made of sewing pattern paper!

I do love my paper ... have a great day all! coming at from Jenny's uber cool Alphabe-Thursday meme ...

Peace, love & paper!

Hi Jo, Just wanted to say I love paper too. I found 3 Baptist Hymnals in a thrift store and they gave them to me. I have been making paper roses out of some of my favorite hymns. I love old letters, post cards and Bibles too. I can't believe people donate family Bibles to thrift stores. The family history in some are pretty lengthy. I like scrapping too. Just don't have a lot of time for it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and thanks for the nice comment.~Ames

My hero has just retired from school. He loves great fountain pens. I only have one,, but I need just the right right and texture of paper to write him a note with it! And now I need to think of a way of using some of those old hymnals in Prince Charming's boot before they're driven from church clear-out to book depositary place! Much to think on here!

I love paper, too. The other day a friend gave us a bottle of wine, which was fine. But, what was even finer was the beautiful linen-like bag and green crepe paper that it came in. I told him the next time he could just give us a bag like that one. :-)

Your paper examples are all so gorgeous -- I may be stealing the pattern paper rose idea! Love that. When my remodel is at a place whee I can leave it alone, we need to get together and go on a paper safari!

Paper is wonderful! I confess, as much as I like blogging, there's nothing like settling down with a real paper book. The feel is part of the experience.

Jo, I'm with you! I love paper, too. You, however, seem to know exactly what to do with it to make wonderful art.

Thanks for the sweet comment on my post. I have no idea just where my mind is going to take me next. Every day is a surprise!

Oh, I love paper, too! (mostly I make cards) It's hard to resist at the scrapbook stores (Why SHOULD one, though?!) And I look through books at thrift stores to find interesting pages.

Oh Jo! What a delightful stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter 'P'.

I am enchanted by that pattern tissue flower. It reminds me of a beautiful poppy. I may have to give that a try.

Thanks for sharing this loveliness with us.

And thank you for linking.
