I am thankful for .... life!

Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving ... My daughter and I spent it wandering the streets of Fort Langley ... munching on turkey sandwiches at the outdoor tables at the bookstore, picking up little treats at some of the shops, finding 1000's of treasures at the antique stores ... now if only i had the money for some of those treasures! Loved the horse on springs .... gawd, that was my favourite thing to play with when i was a kid, I could bounce on those springs forever ... and the feeling of total freedom mixed with excitement and euphoria ... I can feel it as i watch a young girl hop on and start to bounce ... a little wave of jealousy runs through me ... my inner child just wants to hop on and play ... And now i have a fresh batch of photos to scrap ... how cool is that!!!

Sounds like a great Thanksgiving. I love Fort Langley, but I'm sad that the last time I visited I ran out of time and missed the antique store. I'll have to schedule another visit. Great photos, love the piggy cookie jar.
