I had the best time at the Crop for Kids ...I can't wait to hear the total amount raised, I am hoping it was bigger than last year. I had great table mates and great roomates ... lots of laughs, giggles, jokes ... We already have a room booked for next year's crop! And the Scrapaholics, wow, what a great group, Not only are they a whole lot of fun, but we raised $1,000. to present to Mary and Sandra. I am so proud of each and every one of you and I thank you for following my vision of being not only a great group of fun scrappers, but a group who also gives back to our community!!!
The Not So Secret Garden class went oh so well. Loved teaching it ... Izzy was a great coTeacher and Hayley was the best TA! The best part was later that day when one of the students came up and showed me gorgeous Christmas cards using lollipop flowers ... wow, just made me happy all over!!! If you were at the class and use any of the techniques, please show me, I do love to see what you all create!!!
It managed to get 4 layouts and most of my own christmas cards done, i was totally happy about that ... and just to make the weekend extra special, Izzy & I won the last 50/50 draw ... how cool is that! The Photo of us getting our cash was taken by Rae. Thanks Rae!
My fave layout of the weekend ... my daughter's friend photoshopped a picture of her to look like a cartoon ... my daughter chose the papers for this project (you all know that i usually don't do bright) and Hayley gave me a bag of pink ephemra at the crop, and the green ticket stubs we from losing 50/50 tickets at the crop (how's that for irony)
