On to scrappier things ....

While Izzy is away, I have been busy over at Pick of the Patch ... I can't wait till she returns so I can free up some time for scrapping my own stuff! I did manage to pull off one very very quick layout while working at the last POTP all day crop ... don't judge, like I said, it was uber quick!

ON another note ... looking for a great photographer??? or just want to see some great pictures??? Check out Erin Gilmore Photography. Erin is the daughter of my friend Wendy ... I have been watching her photography for quite a while now and she is good!!! I already know that I want her to photograph my daughter's wedding ... well, if my daughter agrees, and if and when she sets a date, but that depends on actually getting engaged, and then there is that whole finding a serious boyfriend thing ... but I'm not rushing things ... am I?

Wendy Davidson

Beautiful, courageous, hysterically funny, supportive, loving, kind, caring, former bc lions cheerleader, synchronized swimmer, daughter, mother, wife, friend, the biggest Elvis fan ever, garage sale Diva, thrift store Queen, just so freakin clever in every way ... I can't believe I will never hear you laugh again ... there's just way to much to miss about you ... i keep wanting to say "remember when..." so I am telling you all of our funniest stories in my head. I miss you, we all miss you ... We celebrated your life yesterday ... You should be so proud, your daughter is so beautiful and strong and successful ... you raised her well ... you gave her love, and confidence and beauty and drive and will and determination and all of amazing qualities you possessed here on this earthly plain ... I hope Elvis is singing to you right now ... only in heaven ...

Things you cant do when you damage your rotator cuff ...

First, thanks to everyone who left me comments on my last blog pos :) ... you all made my day ...

okay, the rotator cuff ...I was running with buddy (8 lbs) and honey (4.5 lbs) when buddy snarled, scared honey, who sped up and ran in front of me for protection ... my landing foot started to touch honey and in that instant i remembered the last time we tripped on her it was a $400.00 vet bill so i raised my foot (yes, the one i was about to land on) and plumeted to the ground with both arms flailing about ... nothing broken, but it looked like i was trying to slide arms first into home plate ... i did manage to land on my left arm... which made a real creepy tearing sound ... and that's how i damaged my rotator cuff ...

So, I'm finding out there is a lot I cant do ... like hold my hands on the 10 and 2 position on the steering wheel ... its now more like 10 and 6:30 ... and i have to use my right hand to hit the turn signal which is on the left side of the steering wheel ... so driving is not so great right now

i can shower, i just cant clean my right upper body ... so i have one dirty armpit ... i just stand in the shower with my hand in the air hoping the water will clean it... and deoderant ... cant get any on the right side ... and my now short hair that needs to be blown dry and flat ironed ... now sticks out at all angles as i can blow dry parts of it but not much ... oh, pills ... those pain meds the doctor gave me, i cant get into them because it is impossible to twist and hold down the lid with one hand ... putting on my bra, well i can get it on but i have to get dd to do it up for me ...

SO... if you see me, and my hair is messy and one arm pit smells and my boobs are lopsided in my bra ... you know why :)

Sorry, no pics, but you have my dad's reassurance that it was a hilarious fall to watch and that he would have laughed out loud if i hadnt been writhing in pain on the floor :)
